Case Study

NFL Hall of Fame Stadium

The Challenge

Snap was asked to work closely with a partner to help setup a large-scale IP-over-TV installation. The installation was for over 250 screens at one location, the NFL Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, OH. This  large-scale project had a start date of mid-July and a deadline of late August due to the scheduled NFL Hall of Fame Game. Additionally the site was under full construction, which resulted in many different variances in installation and required custom mounting procedures. Beyond the installation, the site posed many logistical challenges with product staging and availability.

The Solution

Snap’s project management expertise, including daily progress checkpoints, mitigated any logistics and installation concerns. Snap assisted in designing mounting solutions and managed daily pick-up/drop-off schedules with warehouses. As the deadline drew closer and a few areas experienced construction delays, additional labor was brought in through local resources.

The Impact

Increasing the number of technicians on the project and  providing real-time updates allowed Snap to complete the project just prior to kick-off. As a result, the NFL was able to showcase all screens throughout the stadium. This included menu boards in the concession areas, walkway screens in the common areas, and most importantly, screens in each suite for NFL executives to enjoy the first preseason game of the year and Hall of Fame induction ceremony!
