For the 5th year in a row, Snap Install employees took the plunge into freezing cold water for the Minneapolis Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics MN programs. In preparation for the plunge, Snap asked its partners, family, and others in our community to contribute toward our team goal.
As a team, we raised an incredible $9,000 to support Special Olympics MN. The total amount of donations received by Snap’s Team will sponsor 7 athletes in the upcoming SOMN programs! Snap extends its sincere appreciation to all that participated and contributed to our 2021 Plunge and look forward to continuing our mission in 2022.
A COVID-19 Preparedness Plan was presented to all participants including on-site instructions of limited foot traffic, symptom screening by using the ProtectWell app upon arrival, requirement of mask wearing and numerous hand sanitizer stations. On behalf of Snap, thank you to SOMN for providing guidance developed by the state of Minnesota to ensure safe participation for everyone at the event!
