The Challenge
A national quick service restaurant (QSR) chain aimed to enhance customer experience and modernize its in-store communication by installing new digital displays at over 130 locations across the United States. Each site required the installation of the following equipment:
- One 85” Welcome Wall display
- Three 55” digital menu boards
- One 32” vertical display screen
Complicating the project was the need to perform the majority of the installations outside of normal business hours to avoid disruptions to daily operations.
Our Solution
To deliver consistent results across a large-scale, multi-location deployment, we implemented a flexible and efficient installation strategy tailored to each site’s unique conditions. At each location, our technicians completed up to seven data runs using grey Cat6 cable exclusively to ensure uniformity and performance across all sites.
Once hardware installation was complete and each display was brought online, our team worked in collaboration with remote support staff to configure and verify the functionality of each screen.
A key challenge was the inability to conduct pre-installation site surveys. This required our field teams to rely heavily on in-the-moment critical thinking and adaptive problem-solving to address site-specific variables. Despite these constraints, we delivered consistent, high-quality results across all locations.
The Outcome
The project was executed efficiently and with minimal disruption to business operations. The client now benefits from a dynamic digital signage ecosystem that enhances customer engagement and supports real-time content management at scale.
